Deployment and implementation of PILOT IT

Our mastery of the proposed global PILOT IT solution allows us to ensure  the entire project and the transfer of skills that will allow your teams to be perfectly autonomous on the Maintenance in Operational Condition of the solution including, of course, the evolution of the latter over time in order to keep up with the evolution of your IS.

IMPLEMENTATION STEPS

  1. Deployment of the virtual machine  on your architectures (pre-production, production, DRP)

  2. Configuration of the monitoring of equipment and servers and their resources (processor, memory, disk space, network input/output, etc.)

  3. Configuration of the monitoring of processes and services

  4. Configuration of the monitoring of applications

  5. Integration of the monitoring solution into your backup plan and disaster recovery plan

  6. Workshop to prepare and present the functional tests 

  7. Realization of scenarios and functional test steps 

  8. Configuration of the functional test monitoring 

  9. Verification of suitability for operation with the internal project manager and the future administrators of the solution

  10. Development of interfaces and possible links with other tools

  11. Training of the future users of the supervision, in the context of the use they will have to make of it

  12. Progressively providing the supervision to the actors of the IT department who have been trained (from the most concerned to the least impacted)

  13. After a short period, verification and adaptation of thresholds with the teams to ensure better relevance of alerts to uses and needs and possible adaptations of functional scenarios

  14. Regular Service Verification with the internal project manager

  15. Training and distribution, availability to the entire IT department and even to the business units in a simplified form (weather forecast of only the applications that interest them)

  16. Delivery of all the finalized deliverables and documentation to the Steering Committee, pronouncement of the Acceptance - Delivery of contact details / maintenance identifiers, start of maintenance.

  17. After 3 months of use, we will propose a "Feedback" meeting in order to collect your opinion as well on the PILOT IT™ solution as on the course of the project, we hope for your satisfaction and possible suggestions of evolutions and functional additions.

MAINTENANCE AND SUPPORT OF PILOT IT

We guarantee our customers the availability, quality and reactivity of our Support Pole.

ANNUAL MAINTENANCE

The maintenance that we provide annually covers :

​

  • Corrective, adaptive and evolutionary maintenance of all PILOT IT™ components described and specified in the commercial acquisition proposal, including correction of any bugs, 

  • The supply or provision of updates 

  • Technical assistance

 

TECHNICAL SUPPORT

Access to BV Associates Technical Support is via:

 

  • An incident management tool that allows you to report bugs online and to follow the progress of their resolution, each bug being analyzed, assigned and subject to a resolution plan

  • A document area that allows you to consult the latest versions of product documentation

  • A download area allowing you to retrieve software patches and available add-ons

  • Transmission of an e-mail to the support department (the reported anomalies are immediately assigned to a technical manager and integrated into our incident management)

  • By phone: You can be put in touch with a technical manager from Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 6:30 pm (all support is provided internally by BV Associates teams located in France)

 

Our Support is committed to meeting the requirements of our customers and users in terms of optimal availability of Information Systems, fast recovery in case of failure, strategy to avoid any downtime. In the event of a malfunction in progress, our support teams may be called upon to intervene through : 
 

  • Remote control in case of malfunction,

  • Remote maintenance accesses are carried out within the framework of procedures fixed jointly with the establishment (delivery of an identifier, a password and an access URL by the IT department).

Approved learning center

BV Associates, editor of PILOT IT, is an approved training center under the number : 11 78 03768 78
 

We offer and recommend 4 training modules for our PILOT IT monitoring and control solution.
The Installation, Operation and Configuration training courses are dedicated to future administrators and configurators who will be in charge of maintaining the solution in operational condition.
In order to be more concrete, the Installation, Operation and Configuration training courses are recommended in the form of a skills transfer monitor during the implementation of the solution.They have a clear objective: to ensure that your IT "administrator" staff is autonomous for all the installation, operation and parameterization functions of the solution.

Training in the configuration of the supervision under PILOT IT

The objective of this training is to teach you how to put all the elements of your information system under supervision under PILOT IT™, to carry out the parameterization of all its modules in complete autonomy in order to be able to follow the evolutions of the IS, to create users, to add, to modify, to delete elements in the supervision, to modify and to adapt the solution according to your needs.

 

Carried out in the form of a monitoring with transfer of skills, this training generally lasts between 2 and 4 days.
 

Training for the functional supervision

Training in the realization and parameterization of user scenarios for web applications:
The objective of this training is to teach you how to think, design and configure scenarios aimed at testing the proper functioning of application functions and processes, including response times, so that they can be played regularly by PILOT IT and their results can be displayed in the supervision system in the same way as the technical controls performed.

This training is rather dedicated to members of the Research Department but can also be appropriate for members of the Systems, Networks and Transversal Missions Department.

Training in the creation and parameterization of user scenarios for thick client type applications:
The objective of this training is to teach you how to think, design and parameterize scenarios aimed at testing the proper functioning of application functions and processes, including response times, so that they can be played regularly by PILOT IT and their results can be displayed in the supervision system in the same way as the technical controls performed. This training is rather dedicated to members of the Research Department but requires the mastery of a scripting language which may imply the need to mobilize skills devolved to the systems teams. Like the training on scenarios for web applications, this training may also be appropriate for members of the Systems, Networks and Transversal Missions departments.
